The WESTAR/WRAP Fall 2021 business meeting and WRAP board meeting will be held at the Drury Plaza Hotel in Santa Fe, beginning on the morning of Tuesday, December 7th and ending by 12pm on Thursday, December 9th. A draft agenda will be posted on the WESTAR website and the WRAP website. Meanwhile, please mark your calendars and start making your plans to join us in Santa Fe, New Mexico!
The WESTAR/WRAP Fall Business meeting will be conducted in compliance with all state, local and Drury Inn of Santa Fe COVID-19 mandates.
Masks: On August 20, 2021, the State of New Mexico re-implemented a statewide requirement that facemasks be worn in all public indoor spaces, with only limited exceptions, and regardless of vaccination status. Unless a healthcare provider instructs otherwise, all Individuals ages 2 years and older shall wear a mask or multilayer cloth face covering in all indoor public settings except when eating or drinking. Businesses are allowed to be more stringent than the public health order. As of now, we are planning that the WESTAR/WRAP meeting will be held with all participants wearing masks. WESTAR will provide paper masks for those needing a mask each day; participants are welcome to bring their own multilayer cloth face covering.
There are no state of New Mexico restrictions as far as physical distancing within the meeting room; however, WESTAR will arrange the meeting room in accordance with CDC distancing guidance for meetings and events. WESTAR will also endeavor to increase ventilation in the meeting room by opening windows and doors as weather permits. WESTAR encourages meeting participants to remain socially distant from other meeting participants, other hotel guests, hotel employees and other people you may encounter throughout the meeting.
WESTAR/WRAP encourage attendees to be vaccinated but will also be implementing the following strategies to reduce the spread of COVID-19 among staff and attendees.
- We ask that you stay home if you have tested positive for COVID-19, are waiting for COVID-19 test results, have COVID-19 symptoms, or if you have had close contact with a person who has tested positive for or who has symptoms of COVID-19.
- WESTAR will provide rapid testing kits (as available) to all participants so that participants can test each day of the meeting. WESTAR/WRAP asks that participants with positive tests not attend the meeting that day.
- WESTAR will ensure that the hotel follows appropriate cleaning protocols per CDC recommendations. The Drury Inn of Santa Fe uses Ecolab products and other EPA and CDC approved/recommended products for cleaning and disinfecting, has implemented a contactless arrival process, adheres to a detailed checklist for cleaning frequently touched areas of the hotel and meeting rooms and launders table linens in accordance with CDC settings, including the use of bleach. Hotel employees are required to maintain physical distancing of 6 feet from all guests and other employees.
