About the Hotel
Secluded on a 14-acre peninsula, the Bahia Resort Hotel is in the heart of San Diego’s famous Mission Bay, spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean can be enjoyed from all the vistas at the beach hotel. The Bahia Resort Hotels offers complimentary high speed internet in each room and in the main lobby. Check in time is 4pm and check out time is 12pm.
Making Reservations
Please book your room by either booking online via this link or by calling 800-576-4229 and identify yourself as part of the WESTAR/WRAP 2017 Spring Business Meeting. Our group rate is $162 plus 10.5% tax, 2% city tax and $.47 per room per night. In order to guarantee the group rate, you must reserve by 3/27/17. If you are planning to stay a few days before or after the meeting, know that our room block includes Tue, 4/25 to Thu, 4/27 but the hotel may be able to accept reservations before or after depending on availability and may need to be coordinated with Jackie Gadret at [email protected]. All reservations must be guaranteed and accompanied by a first night deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card. Guests have 72 hours, prior to arrival, to cancel their room reservation without penalty.
Transportation
The hotel recommends 24-hour airport transportation via Cloud 9 Shuttle, which offers the special rates of $12 per person each way (taxis are approximately $25). Parking is also complimentary for hotel guests.

From I-8 heading West
(from Arizona/El Cajon)
Follow the 8 West to the West Mission Bay Dr./Sports Arena Blvd exit. Turn right at the exit and stay in the right-hand lane. Follow the signs for West Mission Bay Dr. After the loop, go to the second traffic light and the hotel is on the right hand side.
From I-5 heading South
(from Los Angeles)
Follow I-5 South to San Diego. Exit Sea World Dr. and turn right. Just past the entrance to Sea World you will see signs for West Mission Bay Dr. Take that exit. Continue following the signs until you go around the loop. After the loop, the hotel is at the second traffic light on your right.
From I-5 heading North
(from Airport/Chula Vista/National City)
Follow I-5 until I-8 heading West. Follow I-8 West until reaching the West Mission Bay Dr./Sports Arena Blvd exit. Turn right at the exit and stay in the right-hand lane. Follow the signs for West Mission Bay Dr. After the loop, go to the second traffic light and the hotel is on the right hand side.
From I-15 heading South
(from Las Vegas/Riverside/Escondido)
Follow I-15 South until it splits into 163 South. Exit on Hwy 52 West. Follow until you reach 1-5 South. Follow I-5 south to San Diego. Exit on Sea world Dr. and turn right. Just past the entrance to Sea World you will see signs for West Mission Bay Dr. Take that exit. Continue following the signs until you go around the loop. After the loop, the hotel is at the second traffic light on your right.
